Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport has some of the most demanding and sophisticated security infrastructure in the world. Megason took a major role in supplying, installing and maintaining key airport security systems including:
CCTV system with over 255 distributed video cameras and real-time display at a number of
control centers
Access control system featuring monitoring, incident collection and command and control for
nearly 1,000 doors and gates throughout the site. The system includes 800 Contactless
Smartcard readers and a tag issuing system
Public address system that reaches every corner of airport, including 50 PA stations and more
than 3,000 speakers
Security management and control system with nearly 20 work stations
Fire detection system with over 22,000 detection points
Gate control access systems that maintain separation between boarding and disembarkation
Integration with a broad range of complimentary systems to enable centralized command and
control.
